Sync Twitpic with Flickr the Easy Way Posted: 17 Apr 2011 04:51 AM PDT Simplicity is key to Internet sanity. Sometimes retaining that sanity requires automating tasks, and the more we can automate, the better. Instead of uploading photos to 2-3 places, if we can upload them to one place and have them appear on our other accounts, this saves us both time and sanity. If you use Twitpic, syncing photos with Flickr is especially easy to automate with TwitpicOFlickr.com. First, enter your email address. The address does not need to be associated with either your Twitpic or Flickr account. Click the blue Next Step button when finished. Next, enter your Twitter username, starting with the @. If you want to send all of the photos you have previously used on Twitter to Flickr, check the box directly beneath where you enter your Twitter username. Again, click Next Step when finished. Click the blue Connect button to connect to your Flickr account. If you are not currently logged in to Flickr, you will be prompted to login. Then, a page with a large amount of text will appear. Scroll to the bottom and click Ok, I'll Authorize It. TwitpicOFlickr then displays a message stating you are good to go. Now you can post photos and videos to Twitpic as often as you like and they will be backed up several times a day to your Flickr account. Overall, this is one of the easiest automations we have set up. If you use both of these services, TwitpicOFlickr will definitely save you time.
